WHAT IS IT: Palo Santo wood is considered sacred wood for its many beneficial properties on a psychological and physical level: it has a calming effect that brings inner peace and serenity, it restores your inner balance and positive energy. Shamans from the Maya and Incas civilizations used it in ceremonies and rituals for its ability to create a line of communication with the spiritual world.
POPULAR QUALITY This product comes from the north of Peru, in the Andean region. The fragrance is delicate and less persistent. It's hand cut and therefore it has a less regular and more rough look. The aroma is delicate and fruity, with a gentle sweetness, and a discreet and sensitive character.
Palo Santo literally means holy wood and is, just as white sage, originate from the native Indians in South America. Centuries ago they already used it during ceremonies to clear the aura and to heal from negative influences. In Europe too, people choose to buy the holy wood to clean their houses or just for the fragrances in its purest form.

The fragrance can be described as a warm, wooden and lightly aroma with a sweet touch that sometimes slip trough. In comparison with white sage (that is also used for the same purpose), Palo Santo gives off a very mild odor. We can’t imagine anybody who wouldn’t be charmed by the natural and therefore spiritual smell.
